The love life of Deborah Divin and Eugene Levy

Eugene Levy started liking his future wife when she was just 14. He was a student at Upper Canada College — an elite private high school in Toronto.

And she was the cutest girl he saw around campus after that chance encounter. He ran into her one more time at age 17 at a bar mitzvah held in someone’s house.

That’s when things took off immediately. He said: So I went back home to Montreal, and I called my friend who knew her brother, he recalled. And said: ‘I like your sister.’ They began dating in 1973 – they married four years later on 12 June 1977 at a big ceremony attended by more than 300 people.
