Personal Statement
My goal after high school is to play college basketball. I am a very hard worker and do whatever it takes to win. I am a point guard for Dakota Valley High School, and I play for Hoffman Hoops Academy in the offseason. My best skill is my ball handling and defense but additionally, I am also a solid shooter. I can lock down the top guard of any team. I am 5' 10, jump well and can finish at the basket. I am also very coachable and always willing to hear how to set up my teammates for success. I have dedicated my athletic career to basketball and have been working on just hoops since 8th grade. I am a very competitive person and never take any game lightly. My quickness gives me a first step on defenders and makes me able to get into the lane and suck help defense in. I understand many offenses within a half court setting and I can make passes up the floor during fast breaks.
In addition to basketball I enjoy tennis, fishing, and any outdoor sport. I work as a lifeguard during the summer which I really enjoy since I love to swim. I take a lot of pride in my school work, I shoot for all A's every semester. My favorite classes are History and Literature. I have a lot of school spirit too, I show up to almost every sporting event and support Dakota Valley. I am excited to take my game to the next level!
