Personal Statement
I know what's it's like to win and I have a very competitive nature. I treat every game and at bat like it's my last without just going through the motions. I also know what it feels like to lose, and hate it. As soon as I step on the field I'm 100% focused and ready to go. I've played through many injuries not because I've had to, but because I hate watching my team play without me. I spend a lot of time in the weight room and at Sportsplex west of Waukee, IA where I get private hitting and fielding lessons from the dedicated staff of the facility. Baseball has always been my favorite sport and I'll always love the game, no matter where my future takes me.
