Justin Chancellor is an English musician known for his role as the bass player in the rock band Tool. Born in London in 1971, he was formerly part of the band Peach and ran a music and literature store with his wife. Chancellor joined Tool in 1995, replacing the band’s original bassist Paul D’Amour. He first appeared on the band’s second album “AEnima” in 1996, which was certified 3x Platinum and reached #1 in New Zealand and #2 in the United States.
Tool’s third album “Lateralus” was released in 2001 and was certified 2x Platinum, reaching #1 in the US, Australia, and Canada. Their fourth album “10,000 Days” was released in 2006 and reached #1 in the US, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.
