Deacon John Stanley White, Jr was born in Suffolk. Virginia on January 6, 1953 to the late John White, Sr and Hattie Mae Foxworth White both from South Carolina. He attended John F. Kennedy High School in Suffolk, Virginia. He departed this life on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Deacon John better known as Stanley AKA Rico Kid and Wild Man was a member of Greater Faith Worship Center. Stanley was blessed with a son Dennis Presley of Pennsylvania. He also was blessed with Twelve siblings to cherish his memories: Joyce O. White-Wilkes (Leroy deceased), Ft. Washington, MD; Willard T. R White deceased; Jacqueline White Little (Jerry, Sr. deceased), Portsmouth; Gloria White, Fort Washington, MD; and Dembry V. (Nasirah) White Shabazz, Nesmith, SC; Melissa (Jimmy) White Bellamy, Nesmith, SC; Cheree (Maxi) White Dunham, Florence, SC; Gwendolyn White, Florence, SC; Kenton (Wancilla) White, Florence, SC; Sophia White and Hattie White of Pittsburg, PA, Joyce Ann Ruffin deceased. Two surviving brother-in-laws Curtis Little, Suffolk, Victor Little (Shannon), New Jersey. His brother-in-Law Jerry F. Little, Sr. and best friend deceased, and Aunt, Juanita Woods of West Virginia.
Deacon John (Stanley) was a loving son, brother, nephew, father, uncle, and cousin. He was known as an amazing mechanic who used his gift and talent in helping family and others throughout communities to repair and fix any type of vehicles. He also loved repairing and putting together anything with wheels, especially bicycles. He also loved farming, working on houses, and cutting down trees. Stanley loved to tell other about his life history and how the Most High saved him. He was loved deeply by many people and spread his love to everyone he encountered. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and there will never be a replacement for such a beautiful amazing soul. The Most High needed his loving angel returned to him, and now his mission is complete. Outstandingly done, Stanley.
