Joe Madison: Radio Host and Activist
Joe Madison, also known as “The Black Eagle” and “Madison,” is an American radio talk show host and activist with a net worth of $6 million. Born in Dayton, Ohio in 1949, Madison graduated from Washington University and served as a board member for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People from 1986 to 1999. He also became a board member of the American Red Cross in 2013.
Madison began his career as a statistician for the St. Louis Cardinals of the NFL and worked in public relations for General Motors Corporation. He became the Executive Director of Detroit’s NAACP branch at the young age of 24.
In 1980, Madison started his radio career at WXYZ-AM in Detroit before moving to WWRC-AM, WOL-AM, and XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. He set a Guinness World Record in 2015 by talking for 52 hours straight.
