Personal Statement
My name is Drew Biber, I am 6’ 5”, 215 lb Wide Receiver from Cedarburg, WI. I will graduate in the class of 2021. Coaches, teachers, parents and friends have often described me with a level of determination, drive, and ability in the game of football like none other. I have been a passionate player, enthusiast, and teammate for the past seven years. If I’m not outside throwing a football with my friends or at team practice, I am watching YouTube videos of game plays. I live for the sport of football and have very strong goals set for myself to make a D1 team in college.
I was fortunate to make Varsity Football as a Freshman and played starting Receiver for the majority of the season. Earlier years of playing football for the Cedarburg Colts, I received MVP Offense for three consecutive years and was also awarded the Team Leader at the final banquet in eight grade. Upon receiving this in front of the entire league (5th – 8thgrade) and their parents, my coach said, “Drew is one of the best players in his history of my 25 years coaching to come out of Cedarburg.” I will always remember him stating, “You will see him on TV, someday.” That is my dream.
Alongside being an athlete, I strive to continue the pursuit of academic excellence throughout high school sustaining my current 3.9 cumulative GPA. I appreciate the importance of a strong education in order to be recognized by college coaches. I am self-motivated to lead by example in the classroom that also extends to my teams.
My career goals beyond college are to be a designer or engineer (due to my love of Math, Art, and Design) or possibly a major in Sports Management.
