Personal Statement
Coach,
I want to go as high as possible with my baseball career and have been working hard to achieve that goal. I have been working to increase my fastball velocity which is now 85. (Recorded 2/15/2016 Prep Baseball Report stats listed under the state of Iowa).
I work hard in the classroom as well, my GPA is over 3.5 and I recorded a 30 on my ACT. I am very competitive, I was fortunate enough to pitch and win two state championship games. The first state title was in 2013 with the 13-14 VFW team in Vermillion SD, the second was in 2015 with the Grand Island NE jr Legion team (Five Points). All in all I feel that I would be a good fit at any school, both athletically and academically.
I would prefer to be in a demanding or competitive environment with a strong year around baseball culture. Academically I am interested in Economics, History and Business. Thanks for your Consideration.
